1963 – 2023 CHELSEA – Tina Marie Monroe, 60, of Chelsea, died Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Augusta, Maine on January 12, 1963, the daughter of Stanley and Virginia (Merry) Parlin. Tina graduated from Cony High School in 1981 and has worked for the State of Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles for over ten years. She was a member of the Green Street United Methodist Church in Augusta, and liked to go camping, four wheeling, watching grandkids sporting activities and spending time with family. She was predeceased by her parents, and daughter Corasan Marie Monroe. Tina is survived by husband Steven Monroe; two daughters Felicia Ward and partner Nate and Nasya Monroe; four grandchildren Aidan, Dominic, Riley and Jocelyn; three grandpets Lily, Daisy and Blaze; Sister Debbie Campbellton and husband Billy; several brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tina's visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 26, from noontime to 2:00pm, with a memorial service starting at 2:00pm, at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner. A family Spring burial to be held at a later date.
