GARDINER – Vincent "Vinnie" Joseph Viola, 41, of Gardiner, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
Born on February 6, 1983, in Freehold, NJ, the son of Joseph Viola and Patricia Smith, he is described by his father as the "best son he could ever have." Known as a loving father, son, brother, and friend, a talented rock drummer, a crack-shot with a rifle, and "so much more than that," he was loved by everybody he knew and will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his Grandpa Joe Viola Sr., Grandma Betty Viola, Grandma Eve Smith, Uncle Bob, Aunt Maria, and step-father Brian Hejda.
Vincent is survived by his father Joe Viola Jr., mother Patricia Smith, son Corey Viola, daughter Kara Viola, step-mother Rebecca Viola, sisters Aleah and Lauren Whitten, friends and former partners Angie Matthews and Brandi Fuller, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other friends and loved ones.
Arrangements and guidance are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
