GARDINER- Wilbur Ross Eshelman, Jr., 86, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Wilbur was born in Carrollton, Ohio on Nov. 30, 1934, son of the late Wilbur R. Eshelman Sr. and Pauline (Howell) Eshelman. Wilbur served our Country proudly in the United States Navy. He later held a variety of jobs, including the shoe shop, C.B. Mattson Construction and McKee Construction. He was also a long time member of Calvary Foursquare Church in Gardiner. Wilbur is survived by his sister, Dorothy Frey, his wife of 63 years, Leona N. Eshelman, his daughter, Pamela J. Eshelman, and his son, Wilbur R. Eshelman III & his wife, Brenda, of Sidney. Wilbur is also survived by four grandchildren, Bud, Wayne, Holly and Lindsey along with 10 great grandkids. At Wilbur’s request there will be no funeral or wake. The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
