VASSALBORO - With profound sadness, we announce the passing of William James Huff, Jr., born on March 10, 1973, in Augusta, ME, and departed from us on August 23, 2024. William, of Vassalboro, Maine, leaves behind an indelible legacy filled with love, compassion, and a spirit that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
William had many professions in his lifetime which included van driver for local school district, security, and Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) for a couple different boarding homes.
Beyond his professional life, He was known for his deep love for the New England Patriots, and his loyalty to the team was unwavering, regardless of the season's outcome. William loved all things Christmas; it was his favorite holiday. When indoors, he could be found immersed in a good old cartoon or a classic John Wayne film, a testament to his love for nostalgia and timeless classics. William was also a video game enthusiast, a hobby that brought him great joy and served as an avenue for him to connect with others.
William was preceded in death by his father, William Sr., mother Arlene McLaughlin, stepfather John McLaughlin, and sister Kimberly Smith. His memory will forever be cherished as the embodiment of resilience, compassion, and warmth that he was.
Bill is survived by three children Tiffany Cunha, and husband Adam, of Wiscasset, Austin Huff, of Vassalboro, and William-Rober Huff, of Hallowell; 5 Sisters Heather, Helen, Jean, Shay, and Beth, three brothers; James, Riley, and Scott; Granddaughter Addison Cunha; several nieces and nephews.
